Leicester Riders are thrilled to announce the addition of American guard Travis Evee (185-G, college: Rice) ahead of the 2025–26 Super League Basketball season.

Evee, a 6’1” guard from Massachusetts, arrives in Leicester following a standout college career at Rice University in Texas. During his four seasons Rice, Evee was a key player for the Owls, starting 128 of his 129 games, posting career averages of 14.8 points, 2.5 assists and 1.1 steals per game.

As a freshman, Evee was named Conference USA Newcomer of the Year. In his senior year at Rice, Evee led the team in scoring at 16.7 points per game, and was the only player in the schools history to graduate with totals of 1,800 career points, 300 rebounds, 300 assists and 125 steals.

Evee Finished his career as the school’s all-time leader in three-pointers made (313) and three-pointers attempted (857), third in scoring (1,885), sixth in free throw percentage (82.8%), and eighth in steals (139).

“I’m incredibly proud to officially join the Riders” commented Evee.

“Reaching this point has taken a lifetime of hard work, and faith, and it’s a moment I’ll always be grateful for. I’m thankful for the opportunity and excited to get to work and make the most of this upcoming season.”

Coach Rob Paternostro added:

“We are excited to have Travis with our club. He had a stellar college career, becoming Rice’s all-time leader in three-pointers and finishing third in program history in scoring. Beyond his elite shooting, he brings strong playmaking, leadership, and toughness.”

“He has the versatility to thrive both on and off the ball, he can score and makes plays from different spots on the floor.”

Evee becomes another exciting summer addition to The Riders roster as coach Paternostro’s 2025/26 squad begins to take shape.
